Your quarterly visits

How the list, planning, visit capacity, scheduling, and access work.

7 questions
What happens during a quarterly Home Care Visit?

We handle routine maintenance that is due and work through the small repairs, installations, adjustments, and household tasks we planned from your list. Before we arrive, we review the work, confirm what fits, identify materials, and ask for photos or details when they will help us arrive prepared.

What if I don’t have anything on my list?

Your visit still has a purpose. We track routine maintenance for your home and plan the care that is due each quarter. Your personal list gives us more to work through, but routine care means the visit does not depend on something being broken.

How do I add things to my list?

We prompt you before each planned visit. Add the sticking door, loose cabinet, shelf, paint touch-up, or other household task you want handled, along with photos or details when you have them. We review the list with you before the visit rather than discovering it at your front door.

What if my list is longer than my visit?

We help prioritize what fits in the reserved visit. Larger requests may need additional approved time, an additional member visit, or a future quarterly visit. We confirm that with you before doing work beyond the visit you already have.

Can I move my scheduled quarterly visit?

You can ask to move an upcoming visit earlier or later, subject to availability. The exact public rescheduling window is still being finalized, so we confirm the available options when you contact us.

Do unused hours roll over?

Each membership reserves a defined Home Care Visit each quarter rather than creating an unlimited annual bank of transferable hours. The final carryforward policy is still being finalized, so we will confirm the applicable terms before you join.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily. We can establish access, pets, alarms, and household preferences before the visit. Some tasks may need your input, but the point of planning ahead is to avoid making you manage the work while we are there.

Maintenance and handyman scope

The routine care and household tasks we handle, plus the limits that keep the service clear.

4 questions
What kinds of routine maintenance do you take care of?

The work depends on your home and the season. It may include filter replacement, smoke and carbon monoxide detector maintenance, dryer lint-area care, exhaust-fan and household filter cleaning, garage-door lubrication, weatherstripping and caulk touch-ups, seasonal exterior cleanup requests, leaf and organic debris cleanup, and door or cabinet adjustments within our service scope.

What kinds of handyman work do you do?

We handle appropriate small repairs, installations, adjustments, and household projects within our service scope. Common requests include sticking doors, loose cabinets, mounted shelves or artwork, blinds and curtain hardware, small drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, weatherstripping, trim, furniture assembly, and miscellaneous household fixes. If your list includes leaf removal or ordinary yard maintenance, bring it into planning and we will confirm what fits.

What work is outside your scope?

We do not advertise electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, roofing, or other work that requires a regulated trade. Full-service outdoor property care, mowing programs, large landscape projects, large remodels, emergency work, and tasks that cannot be completed safely within our documented scope are also outside the membership. We review your list early so we can tell you plainly when another kind of professional is needed.

Are materials included?

The membership primarily covers your reserved technician capacity. Materials may be additional. We identify what is needed while planning the visit and confirm it with you before purchasing or completing work that changes the expected cost.

Plans, pricing, and continuity

What the plans reserve, why payment is quarterly, and how additional visits and your Home Plan work.

What is included in Essential and Complete?

Essential is $2,400/year, paid quarterly, and reserves up to 4 technician hours at each of four planned visits, or 16 included hours a year. Complete is $4,500/year, paid quarterly, and reserves up to 8 technician hours at each of four planned visits, or 32 included hours a year. Both include routine maintenance, visit planning, your running list, and your Home Plan. If you would rather not join, a single visit is $595 for a 4-hour half-day or $1,190 for an 8-hour full day, labor only.

Why is membership paid quarterly?

Quarterly payment keeps the annual Home Care relationship aligned with your planned visits. Your plan reserves four substantial visits across the year and includes the planning, maintenance tracking, and Home Plan continuity that happen between them.

Do I need to sign up for a membership to use Hatchwell?

No. A single visit comes in two sizes — a 4-hour half-day for $595, or an 8-hour full day for $1,190, both at the same hourly rate. It is a real option we are happy to sell you. It is deliberately simpler than a membership: labor only. No Home Plan and no record of your home, no planning from a running list before we arrive, no routine maintenance unless you ask for it, and no time reserved for you — we schedule it when the calendar allows. The hourly cost works out about the same either way, so this is not a question of paying more or less. A single visit buys a block of hours, once. A membership buys those hours every quarter, plus someone tracking what your house needs, planning each visit before we arrive, and keeping the record. If your list is short and it stays short, take the single visit. If the house keeps making work, the membership is what stops it becoming your weekend job.

Can I book help between quarterly visits?

Yes. Members can request an additional Home Care Visit when something should not wait until the next planned visit. Additional visits are subject to availability, purchased separately, and approved before they are scheduled. We do not promise same-day, next-day, or emergency service.

What is the Home Plan?

It is the ongoing operating record and maintenance plan for your home. It keeps upcoming care, the work planned for your next visit, your running home list, completed maintenance and repairs, photos, notes, and home-specific details together. It comes with membership and is not sold separately.

Will I have the same technician?

We are building the service around professional Home Care Technicians and a consistent care team, not a random gig marketplace. A familiar technician is the goal, but we do not currently guarantee the exact same person at every visit.

Where do you serve?

We are launching in selected communities in the Twin Cities west metro. We confirm availability property by property because route capacity and the work your home needs both matter.
